Electric Service Technician

We’re launching electrical services and are looking for an experienced Electric Service Technician to help us build this new division from the ground up.

This is a hands-on field role focused on quality work, customer satisfaction, and helping establish strong electrical service standards as we grow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform residential electrical service, troubleshooting, repairs, and installations.

• Deliver excellent customer service and communicate clearly with customers and office staff.

• Work closely with dispatch and other technicians to ensure efficient scheduling and job completion.

• Follow all safety, code, and company standards.

• Accurately document work performed, materials used, and job status.

• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in proper working condition.

• Support the growth of the electrical division by maintaining high-quality workmanship.

• Participate in ongoing training and skill development.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Electric Service Technician.

• Strong knowledge of residential electrical systems and codes.

• Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical issues efficiently.

• Professional appearance and positive attitude.

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Licensing & Experience Requirements

Required:

• Texas Journeyman Electrician License (TDLR) (preferred but not required).

• Ability to perform residential electrical service, repairs, and installations in compliance with all codes.

• Strong understanding of NEC and Texas electrical codes.

• Ability to accurately complete service documentation and job reports.

Additional Requirements:

• Minimum experience of 2+years.

• Valid driver’s license & clean driving record.

• Able to pass a drug test and a background check.

• Honest, dependable, hardworking, and pays attention to detail.

• Willingness to learn and grow.
